Memories of the past will be stirred by Gus Elen, the veteran coster comedian, and by Marie Lloyd Jnr. , singing the songs of her mother - the greatest music-hall artist of them all. The New Trix Sisters, original Josephine and new Helen, successfully revive a popular duet act. George Lacy, a grand comedian with a style of his own, comes fresh to the microphone from his 'Dame' triumphs in Daly's Mother Goose pantomime. Leslie Sarony has no rival in writing or singing the nonsense songs of jazz. Laddie Cliff and Phyllis Monkman are so versatile there's no telling what they'll do, but. 'Co-Optimist' memories are sure to be revived. Mussi, a new-comer, is the 'mystery-turn' of the programme.

A Discussion between BERTRAND RUSSELL and Dr. ALINGTON 
This debate may solve a thorny problem that has perplexed the nation for too long. Before the Public Schools can be scrapped they must be denned. If they are to be scrapped, it is likely that the sale of the more distinguished old school ties will drop suddenly, and that there will bo a rush of institutions to disclaim a title they had' eagerly sought. Public schools have been praised for their character-training, physical training, decency, and indefinable something ' : they have been abused for their snobbishness, deification of the athlete, corruption, and complete failure to educate. Tonight, the Head-master of Eton defends the "system of which he is so distinguished an ornament against Bertrand Rusell , one of the most radical and practical educational reformers of today.
