Trevor came down from Grawnley for the weekend and was rather upset when Sally told him that Julie was staying at Manor Farm with Charles and Harriet.
Grandfather Dale was finally persuaded by Mrs. Dale to write an apology to Miss Mansfield. Hilary Russell came home. Sally told Harriet that she had engaged Miss Kendrick as her secretary. Harriet was rather annoyed that she had not been consulted. Joanna told Ivor that Mrs. Loss was coming home again.

4-' Old Fourlegs ' by J. L. B. Smith ,
The book adapted by Wyn Knowles
The series edited and produced by Alan Burgess
' Old Fourlegs ' is the story of the most amazing scientific discovery in natural history of this century. It started with the capture just before Christmas 1938 of a peculiar fish by a South African trawler. It ended fourteen years later with the capture of another species of this prehistoric fish believed to have become extinct at least fifty million years ago. The fish was called a coelacanth.
