Mrs. Dale was helping Elsie Freeman to settle the validity of her claim to the estate. She took her first to Bill Francis and then to Mr. Pope, who asked to see the original of Elsie's new will. Hilary Russell asked Bob and Jenny to take care of her baby for an hour and didn't come back at all that night. Colin returned the following evening and decided that Hilary had left both him and the baby on purpose. Later he gets a delayed message from Hilary saying she has had to go to her mother, who is dangerously ill and he realised that it was all a misunderstanding.

A series about you and your job presented by members of the Younger Generation
4-The Railways look ahead
In May 1955, British Railways launched their £ 1,200 million modernisation programme. With eighteen months gone, the superficial effects can already be seen by the travelling public. Behind the scenes, however, many young people are finding that the plan is opening up new opportunities in careers. Peter Baxandall meets apprentices and students and compares notes with Mr. W. W. Harris at the Railway Recruitment Centre in Euston Square. London Programme introduced by Don Durbridge
