'Escapade,' based on a successful play which had a long run in London, is at first sight a comedy set in a boys' school. But there is more to it than that. A local newspaperman visits the school and finds out that a master has been shot with a home-made pistol and three boys have disappeared. The whole school seems to be involved in the plot. The results of his investigation can be heard in this adaptation of the film.
