Miss Pink walked ou't on Maud French who then offered Gwen two pounds more than the salary Mr. Fuliton paid her, if she would become her secretary. Dr. and Mrs. Dale went to Gimlet Green for Miss Pink's weddng. Miss Pink. was greatly upset by a letter from Maud Frondh suggesting that she had been selfish and ungrateful.
