Script by Jonquil Antony
Last week David celebrated his birthday and Mr. Fulton gave him a surprise present of two theatre tickets. On the night of the play David arrived home with two more tickets for the same theatre. Dr. Dale saved the situation by buying the tickets and giving them to Mrs. Freeman and Miss Simmonds. Miss Pink walked ou't on Maud French who then offered Gwen two pounds more than the salary Mr. Fuliton paid her, if she would become her secretary. Dr. and Mrs. Dale went to Gimlet Green for Miss Pink's weddng. Miss Pink. was greatly upset by a letter from Maud Frondh suggesting that she had been selfish and ungrateful. However, Maud did put in an appearance after the wedding, armed with a lovely present and a hired oar for use on their honeymoon!
