Mrs. Dale, the doctor's wife, records the daily happenings in the life of her family
Script by Jonquil Antony
Last week Thompkins told the Dates of Mr. Johnson's dinner party and how Thompkins and Mr. Johnson had slipped away to the bar and become very merry: and how Susie and her mother had left in tears Bob heard that another man had replaced him at Sandbourne because the man's children had been ill and the boss thought a change of air would do them good. Mrs. Morgan was ready to go on holiday when Albert decided he would rather stay at home. Eventually he was persuaded to go for one night. However, having got there he changed his mind and decided to stay. Mrs. Skeats brought Mrs. Dale a lot of fruit to botde. Monument was very annoyed and picked all he could find from Virginia Lodge garden for bottling. The surveyors at
Bnmscombe House said the ' Bring and Buy ' sale could not be held there because the floors were too weak. Mrs. Dale decided to organise it at Virginia Lodge. The Dales, Jenny, Peter Kingston, and Sally all helped with the arrangements for the sale.
