by Count Bobrinskoy Melek Taus , or the Angel Peacock , was the name given by a Kurdish sect to the Spirit of Evil which had fallen from heaven, and whom they worshipped as part of their twin god. Count Bobrinskoy tells how an ibex-hunting expedition brought him across members of this rare religious sect and how the encounter was an enriching experience for him.
