Every November in Morocco there is a three-day holiday to celebrate the accession of King Mohammed V in 1927, his return from exile after the war, and the restoration of independence to the country. Last year WILFRID THOMAS visited Rabat, Marrakesh, and Tangier and made recordings of the festivities.
