For the past fourteen years the Association has spent £75,000 on relief of distress and other charitable and welfare work. Priority is given to widows and orphans, and to the disabled, sick or aged people who cannot earn their living. The Fund's responsibility is to see that a deserving case is never turned down. So far the Fund has been able to help when help was necessary, although in some cases it was impossible to give enough.
