Murder
Glasgow—1862
Jessie M'Lachlan was tried and convicted for the murder of her friend Jessie
M'Pherson. After the verdict had been returned against her a statement was read to the Court by her counsel, in which she accused the principal witness for the prosecution of being the murderer.
