Founded by rheumatics for rheumatics, the British Rheumatic Association is an organisation which promotes the welfare of sufferers from rheumatism, including arthritis, a disease that takes a heavy toll of human happiness and productive efficiency. This it seeks to do by pressing for better and more easily accessible facilities for diagnosis and treatment and by helping sufferers to overcome their disabilities.
