In February, the BBC broadcast special programmes about the Duke of Edinburgh's visits to India and Pakistan. Since then he has been to Burma, Singapore, Sarawak, Brunei, North Borneo, Hong Kong, the Solomon Islands, the Gilbert and Ellice Islands, Christmas Island, Panama, the Bahamas, and Bermuda.
This evening's programme, prepared by the BBC's Foreign News Department, includes sound recordings made during these final stages of the tour.
