Mozart arranged three Fugues from Bach's ' Forty-Eight ' for string trio (No. 8 from Book i, and Nos. 14 and 13 from Book 2), and wrote Adagios as original Preludes for them. The fourth Adagio was transcribed by Mozart from Bach's Third Organ Sonata.
