David has been saved from a very grim fate, and with the recovery of David's memory Professor Mallory and his friends have been able to find the secret notebook that holds the key to the whole situation. Zhang's evil plot against Professor Mallory fails, and at last they discover the identity of the mysterious ' Lo ' and leam the reason for his presence at the monastery of Ling-Kor. But Yago has still to be reckoned with.
