The Society also maintains more than a hundred pensioners and has a Convalescent Home at Westgate-on-Sea.

4-The Establishment of Certainty The brain dominates human behaviour and -thinking but it has to learn how to do so. In his fourth lecture Professor Young shows how, from the earliest davs of each individual human being, his brain gradually establishes its characteristic ways of acting, and how the processes of doubt and certainty both play their part in developing the brain as the instrument that controls our daily life.
