10 — ' Mary Dances the Kappa-Kappa '
Cast in order of speaking:
Music specially composed by John Buckland played by the BBC Revue Orchestra
Conductor. Frank Cantell
Lord George has been obliged to apologise to Mary, his wife, for listening too readily to the malicious accusations of their enemies concerning her friendship with Captain de Baron. But his mind is still filled with mistrust, and this is greatly increased when he discovers from Adelaide Houghton that Mary is to take part in the public display of a new Moldavian figure dance, with Captain de Baron himself as her partner.
Tonight's episode tells how Lord George appears at the ball where this dance is being performed, and, carried away by jealousy, humiliates his wife before the eyes of hundreds of astonished spectators. Mary is driven to her father for protection, and her marriage is brought to the crisis so long threatened.
