Falconry is an ancient art still practised in many countries. The Saker Falcon, used by Arabs for hunting gazelle and bustard, still breeds in Hungary. The capture of a wild Saker Falcon, its training and ultimate flying after quarry are illustrated by film made in Hungary by Homoki-Nagy. Peter Scott introduces the film and discusses the art of training a falcon with James Robertson-Justice.
