The Friday Western: The Great Bank Robberies
Old General Lawrence still fights the Civil War in his imagination. Bad men pose as his troopers and under this cloak of respectability terrorise the countryside. They accuse Cisco and Pancho of the murder of one of their number and the General condemns them to death. The friends escape, however, and in a thrilling battle turn the tables on the outlaws.

Children of the New Forest: 5: The Attack
by Captain Marryat.
Adapted and produced by Douglas Hurn.
(A BBC telerecording of the broadcast on May 3, 1955)
Edward rescues Clara Ratcliffe from robbers who kill her father in an attack on their hide-away forest cottage. The Intendant, Mr. Heatherstone, revealing that the Cavalier Ratcliffes were his friends, shows signs of having lost faith in the Parliamentary cause.
