New series 1/4. Paul Sexton profiles prolific songwriter Burt Bacharach, who, with lyricist Hal David, stylised the musical landscape of the 60s with his heart-wrenching, often cool and elegant songs. Together they produced nearly all of Dionne Warwick's 60s classics, plus Dusty Springfield's I Just Don't Know What to Do with Myself, Aretha Franklin's I Say a Little Prayer and Herb Alpert's This Guy's in Love with You. The series features new interviews with both Bacharach and David, and input from A&M co-founder Jerry Moss, Richard Carpenter, Noel Gallagher, Tim Rice and others.
