2/2. Adam White rewinds to the spring of 1965 to recall Tamla-Motown's star-studded 21-day
UK Tour, which coincided with the label's official British launch despite having already conquered the charts here in 1964 with smash hits by the Supremes and Mary Wells on its Stateside label. This edition recalls the Ready, Steady Go! TV special hosted by Motown crusader Dusty Springfield, and features recollections of the tour by Mary Wilson (the Supremes), Otis Williams (the Temptations) and Pete Moore (the Miracles). Plus several previously unaired performances from the tour.

2/4. Petula Clark profiles the legendary French chanteuse
Edith Piaf (born Edith Giovanna Gassion), who died of cancer in 1963, aged 47, following a career marked by dramatically soaring performances, among them La Vie en Rose and, perhaps most iconically, Non, Je Ne Regrette Rien. The series features rare archive material and continues with a look at her stormy love life and her first million seller, L'Accordéoniste.
