In the second of five programmes, singer/ songwriter Dave Burland visits the Four Fools Club in Redditch, Worcestershire. It hosts weekly singarounds, musical evenings and a summer festival, and above all it is about a love of song. With local singer/songwriter
Colin Pitts and a rising star of the folk scene, Eliza Carthy.
Malcolm Taylor , librarian of the English Folk Dance and Song Society, presents the last of four programmes profiling collectors of traditions throughout the UK. A musician in his own right, from the rich folk tradition of America, the programme finds him recording everything from poems and stories to classic ballads.
