In Search of the Song - Welsh musician and presenter Mal Pope makes his network radio debut interviewing a selection of legends from the literary and popular music worlds, aiming to dispel or prove the idea that the words "poet" and "lyricist" mean one and the same thing. During the programme, which includes unique duets and impromptu readings, Pat Boone discusses his moral dilemma over the word "ain't", Allen Ginsberg learns the secret of the blues, Larry Adler compares himself to Hemingway and Bonnie Tyler discusses her collaborations with Jim Steinman. The line-up is completed by Mary Chapin Carpenter and rising Welsh star Martyn Joseph. Producer Darren Broome
