When the Thorndike Theatre opened recently at Leather-head it welcomed its audiences with a restaurant where food and drink is served all day, and where, as well as the regular repertoire of plays, there will be occasional exhibitions, concerts, and film shows. The 'concert' of complete theatre is discussed today, when Norman Tozer talks to some directors who firmly believe in it. They are Sir Bernard Miles at the Mermaid Theatre.
