At a time when most people are asleep, the London team are sharpening their brains to answer questions put to them by the chairman, John Tid marsh. But for the Australian team in Melbourne it's 8.0 am and in New Zealand it's 10.0 am - on Friday.
In the London studio keeping a close watch on their answers is John Wynn , deviser and author of the Quiz. The producer, secretaries, programme control, and recording engineers make up the unit.
