Guest of the Week: General Erik Wickberg , newly appointed International leader of the Salvation Army Tonight some 10,000 homeless men and women in Britain will be sleeping in Salvation Army hostels. But providing a roof and a meal is only a small part of the Army's activities: its social work includes children's homes and the care of the elderly: work among drug-takers and alcoholics; and a bureau which specialises in searching for missing persons

The Dog with two Heads by BRIAN HAYLES
Cerberus, the mythical guardian at the gates of Hell, had more heads than the two which have been chosen for the title of this play. But, as play-wright Brian Hayles points out, two heads make an excellent trade mark for the new security organisation which his play's principal character is attempting to start. It's the symbol which is demonstrated throughout the play - as what seemed to be true proves to be false, and only the determination of Jack Mackay and Cerberus Security gets to the heart of the mystery
