With Petroc Trelawny. Schubert heralded a new direction in the evolution of German song, which continued in the work of Hugo Wolf. British tenor Ian Bostridge brings his love for these two great lieder composers to the concert platform accompanied by Antonio Pappano , music director of the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, in a recording from the 2006 Schubertiade in the Austrian town of Schwarzenberg.
