DBC Pierre, whose novel Vernon God Little won the 2003 Man Booker Prize. His musical enthusiasms include relatively little-known works by Hoist, Delius and Britten, a Shostakovich piano prelude, songs by Schubert and Wagner, Glenn Miller 's version of Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata, and the Exodus theme performed by Jazz Jamaica.
