The Taverner Choir, Consort and Players, together with Red Byrd and the Rose Consort of Viols, offer another characterful sequence of Christmas music and readings.
For Christmas 1994, music by English composers (Tallls, Holborne, Gibbons and Handel among others) is interspersed with whole-grain country carols and biblical readings - including some surprises - by local readers from parishes in Oban and Oldham (with stopovers in Newcastle and the Cotswolds before SW1).
