Henry Holst (1899-1991) was one of Denmark's most distinguished violin teachers and performers. From 1937 to the mid-1950s he was Professor of Violin at the Royal
Manchester College of Music. This recital from Manchester is given by one of his most celebrated pupils, as a tribute to his life and work.
