One important aspect of the original Olympic Games was the dedication by a poet of an ode celebrating a great victory. But how was it sung? What did it sound like? This programme gives one possible answer in an exciting musical version by Enno Dugend, embodying the rhythm and accents of the original in a haunting piece of music.
