(Part 2 of 2)
The ninth of a series of 18 programmes
Introduced by Andy Peebles

Has the sophistication of modern recording studios gone too far? Glyn Johns is one of a number of record producers who believe that the freedom afforded by multi-track recording and the number of choices it provides together with the vast range of studio toys has led to a sense of bewilderment.
Glyn Johns maintains that 16-track recording is enough for any producer or artist and has a number of outstanding productions to support his claim. This week his recordings with The Eagles, Joan Armatrading, Eric Clapton and other luminaries of the 70s are featured.

A book to accompany the series will be available at the end of March from booksellers
