'So many times,' says Noel, 'we've been asked, "Where is Dingley Dell?". We realised early on in the series that it was a mistake to mention the village, Piggots Bottom, but so far, this sleepy little English farming community has not been invaded by hordes of sightseers (mind you, as we do the show in the conservatory, you can't see us from the road anyway). Miss Croxley is terribly upset about the motorway coming through and work starts near our end of the village at the end of the month, so here's to the last few programmes from Dingley Dell.'
