'I read the papers when the PM, Margaret Thatcher , was going to cut the BBC World Service down. That would have been the greatest disservice to peace, love and understanding in the world... you don't know how important it is, that the English speaking point of view, our way of life, and our whole ideals are presented by the BBC and they're the only ones that can do it... It's very important and people appreciate it all over, and not just English people living abroad, or whites living in Australia, but all the races on earth...'
