As the crowds gather, they lie side-by-side in glass coffins, telling stories and dreaming of how they'll spend the money. 3: Wooden Heart. Steve Chalke meets Eoin Cox , a Scot who has an ambition to revive the hardwood industry of his country. In Ancrum, in the Scottish Borders he's founded Woodschool, a furniture making business that uses native oak, elm, ash and birch, otherwise destined to be firewood. This stems the haemorrhage of young talented Scottish furniture builders who are currently leaving the industry or even the country, producer Sandra sykes.

Sir Paul Nurse, the biologist who won the Nobel Prize for his work on cancer cells, nominates Erasmus Darwin, the grandfather of Charles, for this week's discussion. Although largely forgotten today, the elder Darwin was a prolific inventor, was the foremost poet of his day, and came up with a theory of evolution decades before his grandson. Presented by Humphrey Carpenter, with Darwin's biographer, Desmond King-Hele.
