Ian McMillan takes the railwayjourney of a lifetime, visiting the first private railway in Russia and the last narrow-gauge line in Latvia and discovering the gruesome truth about the role of narrow-gauge railways in the deportation of Lithuanians during the Soviet and German occupations.
