In most villages in Britain you will find a War Memorial listing the local lads who went off to fight in the 'Great War' and who didn't come back.
There are 24 names chiselled into the memorial which stands outside the church in the south Devon village of Ugborough. The children who watched those 24 men leave for the war remember how the village fared through the conflict and reflect on the aftermath.
