A series of unlikely stories by ALPHONSE ALLAIS. English translation by MILES KINGTON Alphonse Allais was a humorous writer whose bizarre pieces appeared in Parisian magazines and newspapers at the turn of the century. Allais is now little known or admired in his own country. Might his humour be too English for French tastes?
