When 1,500 lightly-armed
Commonwealth soldiers flew to Zimbabwe (then Rhodesia) in 1979 to monitor a cease-fire in a bloody civil war, all sides regarded their task as dangerous, if not impossible. Members of the monitoring forces recall the difficulties of gettingthat cease-fire under way amid fear, apprehension and suspicion from all sides. The first of two documentaries introduced and compiled by Derek Robinson.
