When the Atlantic Fleet of the Royal Navy refused to sail in September 1931. Britain's prestige and confidence were badly shaken - the Navy symbolised
Britain's strength. In the financial panic that followed, the Gold Standard was finally abandoned.
Now, 50 years later to the day. the 'mutineers' tell their story for the first time.
