Congratulations!
Having a baby is a happy event - if the planning and preparation are right.
Bernard Jackson explores the way in which parents-to-be prepare for the process of childbirth; have more say in the way and the place their babies are to be born; and the subsequent changes in family life which can affect the future happiness of both parents and children.

This year is the 21st birthday of the National Youth Theatre, which has grown from humble beginnings, as a means of keeping the boys of Alleyn's School busy in their school holidays, to a world-famous drama company, whose productions have been seen all over Europe.
In this birthday tribute Michael Croft , its founder and director, tells the story of the last 21 years. He and many members past and present talk to play-wright Barrie Keeffe , himself a former member and author of several of its successes.
