Anjum helps Wendy Barrie master three Punjabi dishes.

Anjum Anand shows Wendy Barrie how to cook Indian bread, pecoras, tarka dal and Punjabi cranachan so she can demonstrate them at a Scotland gardening festival.

Following on from the success of Indian Food Made Easy, this second series takes Anjum on a journey to show how different regional flavours of the Indian subcontinent can be found up and down the country - From Bengali cuisine in London to the spicy flavours of the Punjab found in Glasgow. 

In this episode we head to Edinburgh to meet Wendy Barrie. Wendy is a champion of Scottish food and a bit of a local celebrity, her cookery demonstrations being extremely popular. She has never cooked Indian food before, but has decided to go on a voyage of culinary discovery in order to demonstrate three Indian dishes to her many fans at one of Scotland's biggest gardening festivals. 

Glasgow and Edinburgh are home to a large Punjabi community, so Anjum takes Wendy to get a real flavour of the local cuisine. First they meet Tony Singh, one of Scotland's best chefs to find out all about the secrets of how to make rotis or Indian breads. 

Then it's off to meet Tasnim, a maths teacher at her local school, but a wonderful home cook who shows Wendy how to make pecoras.

Back in her kitchen, Anjum shows Wendy how to make a fabulous tarka dal, luscious chicken in spinach and a twist on a Scottish dessert, Punjabi cranachan.

Finally it's the day of the festival, and almost 100 people turn up to watch Wendy's demonstration. She's got just an hour to cook the three dishes. With Anjum watching nervously in the audience, will she pull it off?

Manish Bhasin, Mark Lawrenson and Martin Keown look ahead to the weekend's football. Today's Premier League fixtures include the return of Roy Keane to Old Trafford with his Sunderland side. Having faced Manchester United twice as a manager, Keane is yet to see his new team score against the club where he became a legend. Middlesbrough take a trip to Hull, while Arsenal are at home to Wigan. East Lancashire neighbours Blackburn and Bolton both face tricky home fixtures, with Rovers playing Liverpool while Bolton host Chelsea.

It is an important few days in the Championship, with a full programme of games taking place in midweek. Today's matches include a couple which could prove crucial in the promotion battle, with Sheffield United playing Burnley and QPR hosting Wolves. North of the border, Rangers meet SPL strugglers Hamilton ahead of Celtic's match away at Hibernian tomorrow.

There will also be a look back at what happened in the UEFA Cup last week and a glance ahead to this week's Champions League action, which will be the last before Christmas.

The last 16 players, from a field drawn from 70 countries, take to the stage, hoping to progress to the quarter-finals. This time last year John Boy Walton was the star of the show with the first televised nine-dart finish in the 34-year history of the event. He'll be looking to progress again this year but will face tough competition from the likes of world champion Mark Webster and crowd favourites Martin 'Wolfie' Adams and Ted 'the Count' Hankey.

Commentary comes from David Croft and Tony Green.

Sunderland visited Old Trafford to face Manchester United. The Black Cats managed to frustrate Sir Alex Ferguson's side at Old Trafford last season, before losing out to Louis Saha's second-half winner.

Bolton Wanderers had beaten Chelsea just once in their last 15 attempts, but needed to get something out of today's game at the Reebok Stadium, with a relegation scrap already seeming inevitable for Gary Megson's side. 

Just down the road at Ewood Park, Blackburn Rovers also faced a tough task against early pace-setters Liverpool.

It has been over 18 years since Stoke City and Newcastle United met in the league, but they did play twice in the FA Cup last season, when the Potters were still a Championship side. Sam Allardyce was Newcastle manager for the 0-0 draw, but was sacked before the replay, which the Magpies won 4-1.

Today's two games in the capital saw Arsenal play Wigan Athletic, while Fulham welcomed Manchester City to Craven Cottage. Elsewhere, Middlesbrough travelled down the north-east coast to meet Hull City.
