Southampton v Manchester United
Two sides who are installed at opposite ends of the Premiership and are desperately seeking silverware clash at St Mary's for a coveted place in the FA Cup semi-finals (kick-off 5.15). With Gary Lineker.
Holders Manchester United, who remain in the frame to catch Chelsea in the title race, still have their eyes on a possible double and will start favourites after Cup wins against Middlesbrough and Everton, although the Saints will always fancy their chances against the Red Devils in this competition: in a classic David v Goliath encounter in the 1976 final, Saints were cast as the underdogs yet ran out 1-0 victors over the then all-conquering United. They will, however, be without midfielder David Prutton who is serving a ten-match suspension.
