It used to be the calibre of the guests that raised this quiz show from merely excellent to brilliant, but ever since the departure of host Angus Deayton there's been an added dimension: the presenter. Some guest presenters have been surprisingly good. Others were eminently forgettable. There's no news yet as to who's been lined up to keep Paul Merton and Ian Hislop in check for this new series, but fingers crossed that the sublime Alexander Armstrong and permanently bemused Boris Johnson are among them.
