Back in the early 1970s, stony-faced quiz show host Anne Robinson was in deep crisis. Following the breakdown of her marriage, and a descent into alcoholism, Robinson had lost custody of her two-year-old daughter, Emma. Thirty years on, Emma is now a successful radio broadcaster in New York, and wants to share her impressions of the USA with her mother.
