Gary Lineker presents this group A clash from South Korea's Incheon stadium as reigning champions France meet the Uruguayans (kickoff 12.30pm).
The South Americans defeated Australia in the playoffs to reach the final stages. They won the World Cup in 1930 and 1950, but such greatness will prove hard to emulate against the French, whose world-class talent includes Zinedine Zidane and Thierry Henry. Commentary comes from Barry Davies with Trevor Steven.
