Choice: Music: Martine McCutcheon... by Public Demand 6.55pm BBC1
If you're not keen on the celebrity line-up of this music and variety show or the songs that are sung, you have only yourself to blame because Martine McCutcheon has travelled all over the country asking the public who they'd like to see on the programme. It was still to be filmed as we went to press, but we do know that the former EastEnders star will be getting Stuck on You with Lionel Richie and doing a "Frank and Nancy" with David Ginola on Something Stupid. Of course, this is not the first time that the footballer has crooned on television. You may remember seeing him as Sasha Distel on Celebrity Stars in Their Eyes. There are also comedy sketches with the likes of Neil Morrissey and Jayne Middlemiss, and Martine McCutcheon will be performing all her hits as well as a cover of a Barbra Streisand song. (JR)
