Yugoslavia v Slovenia
The Stade Communal in Charleroi, Belgium, where England play Germany on Saturday, is the setting for this Group C match which kicks off at 7.45pm. The Yugoslavs' qualifying progamme was severely disrupted by the war in Serbia but they eventually clinched Group 8 ahead of the Republic of Ireland and Croatia. Their strike force could include former Aston Villa striker Savo Milosevic , but an injury doubt hangs over free-kick specialist Sinisa Mihajlovic. Slovenia reached the finals via the playoff route, overturning a talented Ukrainian side after finishing eight points behind Norway in their qualifying group. The Slovenians' success has been inspired by prolific scorer Zlatko Zahovic and motivational coach Srecko Katanec. Introduced by Gary Lineker. A complete rerun of the game can be seen at 12.45am along with full delayed coverage of today's other Group C fixture involving Spain and Norway.
