First of two special editions this week of the fly-on-the-wall documentary programme, contrasting two children's hospitals in the USA and Russia.
The Children's hospital of Philadelphia is the oldest of its kind in the United States. Among the patients featured in tonight's film are an 18-month-old boy receiving a transplanted kidney donated by his mother. The second film, about life at a hospital in the Russian city of St Petersburg, is on Friday at 8.30pm. See Choice.
