[Photo caption] A Casualty colleague nurses a grudge against new arrival Barney Wolfe (Ronnie McCann)

Drama: Casualty 8.05pm BBC1

There's a new face in A&E: Barney Wolfe (Ronnie McCann) is a young Scot with a dry and sometimes caustic sense of humour. He has a way with the ladies and sets to flirting with Tina and Penny immediately - but equally as quickly he rubs Adam up the wrong way. Meanwhile, Duffy has mixed feelings about that kiss, and there's also a poignant little story about a married couple: she seems remarkably accident-prone and rather confused and, while he is devoted to her, he finds it hard to cope with her vagueness. Having burnt her hand she is taken to A&E, where it soon becomes clear what is wrong. (JR)
